Monday, March 14, 2005,8:38 PM post-leo camp
ok..11th march was officially the day i turned 18. any feelings? erm..nothing much? hmm... that day was just simple and plain. had this lunch with lizi and char at siglap coffee club that cost almost $20 in total. i ate pasta and then we three shared three cakes. i felt like a glutton and felt so sinful but i have to admit, the cakes are DAMN nice. especially the guilotte cake... cant spell it correctly. anyway, its chocolate cake with liquored dark cherries. we thought the cheeries were grapes! ahhaa... how dumb. but the cakes were damn damn nice. the three of us chatted at the place from 130 to 5plus and it was so comfortable sitting around chatting that i chose to pang seh glenda and not attend the leo meeting. sorry ar.. haha. after that i met my family at PS and ate japanese food-ichiban sushi. but i was so full, i cldnt eat much so i ended up ordering two varieties fo sushi while the rest of my family ordered a meal. hmm...like abit wasted nv eat a good hearty meal since its a treat from my sis but too bad i was too full..nvm.. as long as my family emjoyed it. so.. tt's that. that was all i did for my 18th birthday. nothing new and refreshing.
ok..the ONLY thing that was exciting and really really really made my day was the confernece i had with char marissa and steph at 1am on 11th march. that's the most happening thing. anyway...thanks for all who wished my happy birthday and all who gave me prezzies. =)
now..on 12th and 13th march..i spent my day in tjc.. having leo camp. it wasnt exactly that fun cus the group guys really cannot make it. they are year ones and really behaved so sissily and so childishly that i cant help but think... our batch guys are SO MUCH better when they were at yr one. anyway..we went sentosa to play games in the afternoon..i thought i ahd a sunburn..slight one..turned out when i reached home..the sunburn wasnt that bad BUT i became obviously tanned. hmm..and i had black and white defined lines. alright..the most boring part of the camp must have come in the night. the yr one guys were so different from the day. they were so unenthu in the day yet so damn noisy in the night that they pissed every single person in the group..including glenda and also...the station masters. but that's not the point.
0030 -lights out. glenda was busy sms-ing.. and i mean BUSY. i was so bored i sms-ed too. she slept and sms.. i talked to her..she answer slowly and sleepily yet when sms came.. she replied.. then she fell aslp while i was trying damn damn hard to fall aslp. i kept calling her.. but she was too slpy she ignored me totally.. felt so sian and alone. sms-ed pple..nobody replied except char. she replied once then..no sound anymore. my phone was left with one miserable block of batt i cldnt do much. in the end..i really really buay tahan i got up..watched my juniors play card till i sian.
conclusion: i nv wana go to camps with pple who fall aslp early and pple who CANNOT ton AT ALL. simply, dun go camps. they're not that interesting. not to say i like to self- torture..but survival camps are so much more interesting. tiring and torturous but at least, fun.
