last friday.. i had a company function organised by NTUC.. its known as the JRP awards night held at DXO. cool.. i dun think anyone will ever understand wat this awards night is about cus i think even the hosts(bryan wong and kym ng) didnt had a clue though they hosted the event so professionally.. so..i shall skip the explanation on wat this whole awards night is. Besides, i dun even know wat isit about exactly!!! haha.
anyway.. PM LEE was there too. he was the guest of honour.. everywhere was high security and u had to have screening in order to enter DXO. well.. he looks pleasant.. nice.. friendly.. but i heard some officials say he looked really tired actually. haha.. yeah.. btw.. DXO is nice inside.. as in.. the place looks cosy..but the music.. abit cannot make it.. cus i HEARD they play trance etc normally.. which is like.. erm..so not my kind of music. bet if i stayed there for a longer time.. i wld have gotten a headache! anyway... i had a memorable bdae celebration that night too.
alrite..here's wat happened. Our company careerlink decided to celebrate the babies of feb and march together after the event. as i tot i was a temp and my name wasnt in the list which they sent out.. i tot mine wldnt be celebrated. BUT.. they're SO NICE! haha.. they gave me a winnie the pooh softtoy.. i think they got it from change alley.. BUT..its the thought that counts! they're so nice. haha.. but this is a special birthday cus..it was held at DXO.. coincidentally.. and there was bryan wong and kym ng to take photos with all the bdae babies! ahha..not tht im a supporter of them.. but afterall.. how many pple atually get to take photos with celebrities on their bdae celebration?! and.. the zhong dian is..i took photo with the DIRECTOR of careerlink.. or isit DIRECTOR of NTUC? i have no idea.. i just know he is the DIRECTOR.. haa.. affectionately known as Mr. Zee. heh. SEE? haha..feel important lei.. take with director.. lols.. im so full of crap. haha.
alritey.. i had a really early and good and simple bdae celebration. its great working here i supposed. haha... so fickle. BUT hey!.. ive always said the pple here are nice. DIDNT i? haha.

last sat..i met lz and her bf and char. supposedly, all four of us are to watch walk the line together. BUT..last min ah yao say wana celebrate with char post vday so they two went off and elft me and lz and her bf. feeling weird..i left early. char..u ps me. better remember.
anyways.. after that.. i went to meet h&f pple. wats wrong man.. becoming h&f loyalty alr. having gatherings almost everyweek! firstly was movie at cine .. then it was tau hui at geylang.. this time.. last sat.. it was at esplanade. alrite..a t first we wanted to go to polaners or something at millenia walk which is a pub with live band.. but too crowded! so we walked to esplanade and ended up chilling out at harry's bar or harry's pub. anyway.. watched first half of a soccer match.. it was a fun night i supposed. gotta know chion and wanying. in case joy is interested..yesh..wan ying as in the cchs chio bu. if u still think she's chio. but i think shes cute. she and chion.. like brother and sister leidat.. so cute. btw..chion drived us there. so cool. haiz. hahah. chatted at the pub then let and went to makan sutra to eat.. went home at 130am. reached home damn late. luckily nv got scolded.
this sat supposed to have outing at marina bay again. we forever eating one..horrible. haha. ok..end of blog. i gonna chat with mar and steph online alr. heh. =)

happy belated valentine's day!!!
yday was valentine's day.. how did everyone celebrate?? haha..one thing i know for sure.. lewis is spending PRECIOUS time with the mosquitoes in the jungle at THAILAND!!! whahaha.
anyway.. let me tell u my interesting night.
at 930, vincent, glenda and i met up at paya lebar mrt station. well.. mingwei was LATE! wat? we met up SO late and u still late?! if vincent and i didnt go.. glenda will be waiting for him alone!! how can?! anyway.. chia heng was supposed to be there too. BUT.. mr koh chia heng ps us last min. wha.. so irritating. anyway..it was like another H&F outing.. unhealthy one somemore..fancy meeting up at geylang to eat rochor tau hui at 930!!! hhaha.
anyway.. had a really nice chat with glen and mingwei and vincent. haha.. glen was busy saying her lame joke the WHOLE night!! have u received the e-filing email? they ask me go and do again!! ahha.. and mind u.. taht LAME girl repeated that same joke over for about 5times.. and i cont laughing during those 5 times. damn funny. haha.. and when we left geylang at 1030.. she still remembered to REMIND us of our joke!! i knew it la!! she's so lame!!! but... never fail to make me laugh. haha.
thought the outing will be lame and weird.. but afterall.. its alrite.. funny.. had a fun time with all of them. so..when is the next H&F outing? hmm... who will plan again?! haha..so lame.
anyways..got to know some BIG news!!! CONGRATS!!! u know im talking about u.. i spent the ENTIRE day jubilating about it and talking online with u. hehe. good for u gal!!

i love my job. it gives me ample time to blog during office hours.. TOO ample in fact but i shall not further elaborate on that cus ive said all i can in the previous entries. today isnt as Uninteresting as previously..my whole day till now was spent stapling stapling and stapling. got another paper cut. helped out at the reception for an hr during lunch time. later going shopping! its about the only thing that cheers me up now. im turning into miss xue no. 2. jialat. msut be hang out arnd her too long.
the weekends were busy busy to me.. sat i went shopping with char.. yeah..see? hang out with ehr again.. she wanted to buy stuff for her bf from topman..who knows when we finished shopping.. we decided to digress abit and ended up at level one of wheelocks zara shopping! haha.. both of us bought a shirt.. hers was $19 while mine was $34.50. why?!?!! more expensive. yday..i conjured a list of things i wanted to buy mentally and verbally.. a total of 7. where am i going to get all that money?! pple really must learn how to be more satisfied with the world they have now and not be greedy for too many things! ended up home at 1130?
on sunday was the H&F outing. go ahead and laugh all u want.. the idea is corny btw.. only glen and mw can think of such things. haha. anyway.. we invited jiahao, tony, chiaheng, vincent, glenda, mingwei and me... yeah..only closely-knited h&F members were invited... haha. in the end, jiahao was in fieldcamp and so was tony..both of them cldnt make it.. so onyl the five of us went. we emt up and then went cafe cartel to eat.. well..the food is.. O-K la.. not THAT bad..not good either.. haha. anyway..after that.. mw wanted to leave for pool and meet his frens else where. we tot he was weird cus.. who leaves the FIRST when they ORGAANISE the outing?! anyway..after he left.. deyong came and join us for a movie at cine.. we watched constant gardener..and i almsott fell aslp. it was too heavy for my state of mind on that day. yeah. after taht, deyong went to be his waiter.. haha..go and work as waiter i mean.. heard there MAY be another one.. but doubt anyone will wana organise again.
im feeling miserable at work..truly msierable. haiz. where is my savior?!

This is wat a blog is MOST useful for. FOr me to RANT about all kind stuff and for me to update when im ULTRA bored. FOr me towaste my time here while at work. RITE. AT WORK. LOOK AT THE TIME NOW. ITS 1341 AND IM SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING. WAT AM I DOING SLACKING HERE?!
im DAMN FREAKING EXTREMELY... BORED at work. Somebody, please PLEASE PLEASE save me. The only same soul whom i can find in my TINY planet is Charlene Lim.. cus shes EQUALLY sian about her job. the only difference is.. she has TONNES of files to check which is totally wholesomely boring.. while i have NOTHING absolutely NOTHING to do.. having to FIND THINGS to do EVERYDAY at work. now.. tell me.. HOW PATHETIC IS THAT?!?!?!?! ARGH. im going crazy here everyday. wasting my time.. wasting my youth.. get me something to do!!! i dun like the feeling of doing NOTHING EVERYDAY.. i dun like to idle for too long. u may be thinking that i shld count my blessings cus i have nothing to do and work isnt hectic for me.. BUT..that's because ur life at work is filled with ALL KINDA WORK and u're FREAKING BUSY each day.. and u LONG for a break of two.. BUT.. put urself in my shoes.. wat can u POSSIBLY do by slacking EVERYDAY..?!?! ive done ALL that i can.. there's nothing much i can surf about. i tot yday was bad...today was even worse. yday i was so bored i read the NEWS.. yeah.. THE NEWS.. on msn. BLESS me.. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I READ THE NEWS?!?!?!?!?!?!? cant get enuf of exclamations to vent my boredom and pent up feelings at this stupid workplace. TODAY..worse. i spent the ENTIRE MORNING..ENTIRE... reading my OWN blog. ok.. i know tts dumb.. i did read pple's blog and i saw this website on ed gein or something..this notorious killer at US who was caught LONG LONG TIME AGO. anyway.. im FREAKING bored..i had to read MY OWN BLOG!!! alrte... laugh at my stupidness for all i care. i had got nothing to do!!! what do u expect?!?!? my boss doesnt even give me job! i had to ASK for it. ASK. whoa.. i dun mind the free money..why not let me sit at home.. i type everything from home.. then u GIVE ME THE MONEY>> and when im done with my work, which takes about one or two hour EACH day.. which is about 1/4 of my time here. yeah..then i'll spend the NEXT 3/4 of my working time doing something at home instead and not trouble u for work!! come on..just give me my money. this is bad.. i cant stop thinking this job is BORING. pple say they are bored cus the work they do is boring.. but for me..i mean it literally as in.. having nothing to do so u feel BORED. haiz. save me someone.

COUNT COUNT COUNT. 1) i get to work with my sister. how lucky is that?!?! yeah good. she works next to me..while im rotting and blogging and ranting here.. she is busy making phone calls to about 200pple. call her busygirl. why am i not doing the job? cus the bloody phone at my desk is spoilt so she gets to do all the work. meanwhile..as i sit here.. getting bored and stuff.. i listen to her speak in a GENTLE voice to pple over the phone.. teh FAKE PROFESSIONAL mode of TALKING. pardon me..im in extreme PMS mood here. cant stand that FAKE voice.. so im blasting the music with earphones on of cus..BLOCKING out that irritating FAKE voice that REMINDS me of how extremely free i am. thanks ar.. 2)i get to use msn. my good frens are not online or they are away. glen cant come online when her boss is arnd.. US frens not arnd.. u are not free...lewis army.. all guys in army.. joyce is not here also. HAIZ. save me. i've talked to jiahao TWICE and now im talking to kuan rui. look.. i didnt take the initiative to talk to him..though many times, i feel like clicking on his contact since he is like the ONLY person on msn whom i can crap as a LAST RESORT... but maybe god decided im too pitiful and decided to send me a savior so he sent someone who's most unlikely-kuan rui. look how PATHETIC i m. (he's telling me my job is good. wait till he comes here and not allowed to play games btw.) 3)nothing.

been ages since i last blogged FROM HOME. sorry for posting such boring and boliao and senseless blog entries k? haha. let me TRY and see wat i can blog. after all, my life isnt very interesting now.
hmm.. ive been working at ntuc careerlink ever since 16jan2006. wat can i say? here's my job scope:
1)key in registration forms. 2) removing staple and filing. 3)receptionist when needed. 4) SLACK and TRY to keep awake.
yeah.. basically, thats all. the life there is basically.. SIMPLE. SLACK. RELAXING. EASY. BRAINLESS. on the first day of work, my boss jon who is also my cousin, attached us to two pple outside called serene and michelle. jon asked us to learn the ropes then when we can do it alr, he will put us outside at the frontline independently. as the days go by, we finished all the possible daily data entry and we had nothing left to do. then jon kept asking us to go out and this michelle.. KEEP telling and REPEATING to us we shld help out at 11-3pm timeslot and go for separate lunch while the assistant head says actually we only need to help out outside when needed. So.. we were like.. HUH?! SO .. wat are we supposed to do?! then, assistant head finally gave in to michelle and decided to arrange timeslot for us to help out. BUT..ever since she started the scheduling timetable, we nv followed it. cus.. whenever we go out.. we can ONLY hep out at the self-help counter cus the rest we cant help either cus we haven learnt or we are not needed. SO.. we go out and help.. and end up STANDING ARND... BLOCKING THE NARROW PATHWAY. and each time such a thing happens, i feel like we're redundant and cant help asking.. CAN I GO?!
this michelle, dunno wat she wants. in case u guys dunno, shes a senior highranking personnel turned normal staff. she gives lots of suggestions of cus i knwo for the good of the company.. and she tells us wat to do.. yeah rite.. like COME HELP OUT AT 11-3!!! in the end? WE STAND ARND BLOCKING THE PATHWAY. HOW dumb. ask her: is there anything u need our help with? she answers.. come help out at 11-3! wats her problem?!?!?! jsut answer my qns and i'll do WATEVER u want me to!! ARGH. then.. my sister had to go out and learn to do jobmatching.. she went out..followed the schedule and told michelle she was attached to her on that day. here's wat michelle said: I cant let u do anything cus u haven learnt anything. haiz.. wats her problem again?! we are here to LEARN.. PRECISELY. TEACH US WHEN U ARE FREE!!! argh. tired of talking about her man.
as u can seee.. she's basically the only person i cant REALLY get along with.. but other than that.. ALL the staff there are NCE. i like them. HOWEVER, the job is too boring. yeah.. had to try to keep myself awake by donning coffee down my stomach every now and then after lunch. gosh.
well, life is ok for me now. fun.. nice.. happy i think. waiting for steph to come back from US on june. U are nice, they are nice.. everyone's nice to me. got knocked by a cart today on my left hand.. got a paper cut on my right middle finger.. got stepped on my foot by a woman wearing HEELS. walking back to the office after lunch and it started raining..took a roundabout route trhu the arcade and clifford centre, almost lost our way.. but i still managed to find my way to the other side of the road.. but... the rain stopped. all those walking for nothing! nvm.
im done with blogging.. tired of coming online at night alr.. been online everyday from 9 to 630. facing the come all day long.. mentally and physically tiring. wait for the next blog entry!
