Im working on a Saturday, covering for my colleague Noel who had food poisoning. Must have eaten the wanton mee at LPS. dunno why i say so? u've lost touch with my life alr. Did u know i ate something wrong last or the week before last? do u know i had a GREAT time puking my food out? u lost touch. ok. tts NNOT the point. ANyway, I'm earning 1.5times my normal pay for covering on saturday! so nice..i dun mind covering on sat morning since i ahve nothign to do in the morning. ok..u may say its in the MORNING.. yea.. but it doesnt amtter anymore cus i think i've got some sleeping disorder and i wake up at unearthly hours like 2am, 4am and 5am. gosh. and imagine me doing that once in a few days.. when im working. can u imagine how tiring it is to drag myself up from bed to work after finally falling BACK to sleep at 2, 4, 5am? sigh. wat's happening?!
Oh rites, i need to go out to the sun to tan myself a LITTLE. I got a scare once when i looked at the mirror and saw that i was damn white. i tot i saw a ghost. ahha. but char says i look ok..so i didnt think much of it. BUT.. yday i met up with liwei and gang, liwei said i looked UNHEALTHILY WHITE.. PALE to be exact..so.. tennis..here i come!
well, yday met up with yq and joyce only. had a pretty good get-together.. had a GREAT laugh with them. Life's still fun around them and we still had alot of things to laugh at! that's great. good. yq looks extremely gay.. and the both of them were in COUPLE clothes! hah..both wearing green together. wait till juan reads this, bet she'll laugh if she sees them in person wearing the same color. haha. I miss JC days. I miss lectures in which i wld draw and talk..ok..i ant draw but heck... i miss eating in tutorials.. i miss ponning tutorials and slacking in the cafeteria.. i miss ponning panai's lessons for breakfast with joyce. i miss JC.
Oh.. that doest mean i dun miss sec sch lfie btw. I think i prefer sch to work. well, anyone wana sponsor me study? give me money for studying, scholarships are a no-no cus its damn stressful i assume. haha.

i made a trip to Queensway shooping centre on a weekday, TUESDAY, yesterday. I must be mad. I went with glenda, she must be equally mad. both of us are mad pple. that shall be it.
Yday, i met glen at Raffles mrt platform, I see that she kinda looks like a true blue art student, with a BIG BIG paper bag on her shoulders. hmm.. i tot...is that glen? where did she go? no lei.. that looks like an arts student, glen is not artistic wat. LOL. anyway, i later realised that she went for a food exhibition at expo, entrance fee worht $80 and her dad got her a pass. she got lots of things from there, brought lots of things home after having a FREE meal at the exhibition. cheapo. lol. jk.
anywya, we reached queensway arnd 7plus and we started shopping. She was there to find a jacket for her brother and to shop with me, i was there to shop for tennis shoe and check out the price of the nike bag i eyed a long time ago. We shopped for quite some time and she finally bought the puma jacket for her bro, and i bought a nike tennis shoe. Under her STRONG encouragement, I also got a nike bag that we spotted at queensway. She is quite a good shopping buddy though, gotta admit. haha. She helped me bargain at queensway! gosh. Must bring her to all the bargain-able places and let her bargain for me! i doubt i'll ever master the art of bargainng. sigh. well, i THINK she didnt exhibit her bargaining skills enough yday cus she only managed to help me ave $20 in all! I ended up spending some $200 at queensway shopping centre. SAD. Im now $200 poorer!!! sigh. anyway, kudos to glen for shopping with this indecisive girl here and bargaining for me!!! haha. =)
after shopping, we went to IKEA to eat. She ate some seafood horfun and i had the famous swedish meatballs. Its quite nice i must say. TOo bad i was sufffering from a sore throat, if not i could have enjoyed it more. sigh. anyway, its woth the try and queensway realyl ahs got alot of things to see and i wana go shopping , window shopping, at IKEA~!!! any volunteers? haha. We had a realyl good laugh over dinner, talking about lots of things. I feel so glad to find this childhood friend of mine back. haha. happy not glen, whole entyr praising u man!
anyways, we left the place at 9plus 10 and i reached home at 11pm. gosh.imust be mad. i still ahd to wake up this mroning and come to work! btu luckily, im not tired. ok..adios!

its 24mins to the end of my work. its raining outside. its freezing inside. hmm... im here to blog at work again. finished all my work at 4pm. im glad there's more things to do now.. and im now less bored at work, pple here are getting kinder and kinder.. and im ok with the work here and i complain less and less now. im gossiping with my ex-colleague from HSBC... dating back to march when i last chatted with ehr. she's really chatty man.. dun ahve to worry of awkward silence cus its nv silence aroundher! its good though. haha. lifes been good i suppose. tml going amk grassroot club do outdoor recruitment. half day out of office, the otehr half back in centre. not bad..good exposure. visited my ex-vjc fren's blog..haven kept in contact with her at all..but her course of study seems cool. she gets to go to all kinda places for internship such as malaysia and JAPAN. JAPAN. gosh. so lucky. and she seems to be having a nice time there. haiz..envious. if only my course of studies is as good. if there is ever another internship programme, i swear that i will go for it regardless of wat unless my parents oppose which seldom happens. haha. i remember i used to have this taiwan internship opportunity in jc i think. is it jc? ya..jc.. but i rejected it cus i tot it was a bother and i didnt want strangers to come to my hse to stay. then.. i ahd this interview for internship at some banking sector and i performed badly at the itnerview on purpose again cus i last min decided not to sacrifice my hols. come to think of it, quite stupid. shld have grabbed the chance. it wld benefit me greatly seriously. sigh. nvm. there will be lots of chances i hope. i aim to study really hard for uni adn grad with GOOD DEGREE.. like 2nnd upper class honours IF I CAN.. haha..IF I CAN.. so that my future is bright and i wun feel lost and bleak and my career will start off right. time to start thinking of my future and be less blur.

im still contemplating wat phone to buy! im so sad cus originally, i wanted to buy nokia 7370 but its memory space is only 10mb with no card slot. thats WAY TOO SMALL! sobz. then i dunno wat to buy le. sad. then i tot of getting nokia 6280, 3G phone, but any sensible person will ask me not to cus... nobody uses 3G now.. and.. u gotta pay to use 3G so that technology is FEI and its darn ex. but my sister says, its a good phone worth the buy cus im not likely to change phone till i graduate from uni cus i wun have money by then! is it worth spending all i earn on a stupid phone??? sigh. im stuck. or am i DESTINED to get the MANLY samsung d500??? or panasonic vs7 which has ugly design or vs6 which looks bulky? sad case.

yay! today did nothing except slacking at work. why? haha. let me recount my story. firstly, the centre manager isnt here cus she is on leave and is playing golf, next my reporting officer jon is on mc and assistant head is on leave till thurs. so, the centre is without a head but there is a temporary head though but we get along quite well, toon! =)
well, actually there's TONNES of things to key in and tons of job referrals to make but.. miss tan ll here computer netword cable was disconnected! and since i share the same line as my reporting officer and he isnt here, so i cant do work at all! cus i cant get into the infoshare so i cant do work. so.. wat did i do? haha. well, basically, i didnt do much. i just did everything boldly without fear of being discovered. haha. i read storybook, play games and did some basic filing and printing. that's all! btw.. remember i said i sold my happiness to ntuc cus i just told my RO that im extending my contract? well, it was actually a verbal agreement and till now, the HR has not sent us any letter asking us to extend! so.. now we're just hanging arnd, seeing if we are needed. mind u, our contract is supposed to end on 16/04/2006-THIS WEEK!!! ah!!! anyway, even if we dun have this job, we have another temp job that lasts for about 1week at expo. i think gotta do some customer service and give out some flyers. haha.. its recommended by a colleague at ntuc.. so if the job i have now is not extendable, then i shall go help out at expo.
well, the only way to make things go quickly and for time to pass quickly is to keep yourself busy. define busy?
